Do you ever feel like so much business advice out there feels pressured, high intensity, and out of your natural flow? For many of us, it’s been ingrained that to achieve success, we have to hustle for it, and many of the business methods we’ve learned are rooted in this more masculine energy.
It’s not that masculine energy in business is wrong, and it is more so that we haven’t learned how to balance it with our feminine energy. When I started tapping into my feminine more, it felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders, but I found so much more ease and flow in my business.
Six Ways to Embrace Your Feminine Energy and Lead Your Business
01. Cycle alignment
In each stage of our monthly cycle, our hormones, energy, and natural strengths ebb and flow. I became more aware of what was happening within me and used it to my advantage. What works for each person is different, but one big thing is that I rest and reflect during my period. I spend time alone, journal, and often gain many new insights and ideas for my business. A lot of these are then translated into new resources, IG captions, blog posts, and marketing emails ✨
02. Receiving
Each evening, I sit with my journal and note everything I received that day. Whether it be a hug from a friend or new followers, a payment, a compliment, a lesson, or an insight, By staying conscious of all that we receive, we make ourselves an energetic match to receive more, welcoming in more gifts from the universe.
03. Creativity
As women, we are deeply connected to creativity. Just as we birth life, we birth ideas, expressions and art. In my journey I’ve experienced creative burnout where even just the thought of picking up a pencil gave me the ick. This taught me to never force. Instead I stay inspired through travel, learning, reading and spending time in nature. And when inspiration strikes, I role with it. I create brands, art, content, blog posts… I create whatever wants to be expressed.
04. Intuition
As a Generator in Human Design, listening to my intuitive sacral authority has been a game changer. When making business decisions, collaborating with people, or taking action, I’m always aware of how things feel in my body, and I listen. I let my feminine intuition guide which strategies, structures, methods and actions I put into place (all the masculine parts of business).

05. Empathy
I’ve always been sensitive to the emotions of others around me, and whilst sometimes this can be a strain, it becomes a blessing in my business. My sensitivity allows me to connect more deeply with the feelings of those I work with, so I can better understand where they’re coming from what they want to create.
06. Collaboration
When women come together, magic happens. I can’t explain it, but I know it. The approach I take to branding is always a co-creation. It’s about joining with the business owner to expand on ideas, play around, and bring their vision to life. So many times I’ve been grateful for the feedback of my clients, as it’s added to the final brand in a way I couldn’t see on my own.
